Yes, we can make this a New Year's Resolution-and start it tomorrow! Someone spent a lot of time working on this so it coincides with the Primary theme for the year. So no more excuses about not having a lesson to do.
If you don't think your kids can handle a lesson each week, make a calendar that says something like this:
1st week of the month-lesson based on Primary theme
2nd week-teach a scripture story
3rd week-principle in practice (something your family is struggling with-like lieing, cheating, fighting)
4th week-service project or invite a family over for dinner to get to know ward members
