"Project: Organization"-THANKS and PRIZES

That's it. WE'RE DONE!!! Pat yourself on the back. Seriously, give yourself a pat...doesn't it feel good? You really do deserve it. You've worked extremely hard these last two weeks, and your home shows it. I hope that you found satisfaction in getting your home organized-I know I did. I find that the more organized I am, the less stress I feel. And we all could use a little less stress, right?!?! With everything now organized, you should be able to access it easily. Making a shopping list should be quick and easy because our pantries are organized, along with our recipes. And there shouldn't be any "clutter" trying to escape from our closets.

I say, go treat yourself! Maybe go to the movies tonight, or buy yourself a little treat. I don't care how you do it, just do it! A long bubble bath sounds great, with the book you've been wanting to read. Just don't go on a shopping spree for something that you don't need-we're not cluttering our drawers again!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Seriously, I mean it. I've loved sharing these two weeks with you, learning from you, sharing recipes, etc. YOU kept me motivated to keep going.

I won't get sappy, or go into details, but I've had a really rough last 2 1/2 months. I've come to realize that a good friend is worth more than just about anything in the world. I would gladly give up my home and everything in it, to have a good friend close by. Yes, I have my husband he is my best friend. But we all need girl friends to listen to our sappy stories, give advice (when we ask), and to just be there if we ever need them. My good friend, Karen, moved away in Sept. and life just hasn't been the same. But I'm learning that I can reach out to my good friends that aren't in Ohio, and draw strength from them-from you! Thank you for letting me lean on you, friend, when life gets rough. I appreciate your kind words, your willingness to put up with my flaws, and your willingness to be a part of my life. I pray that I can be as good of friend to you, as you've been to me.

Ok, we can't end this project without some PRIZES!!!!!

I did a drawing for my cookbook and the winner is................................................Alisa!!!! (Thanks for taking the time to share your recipes with me-I've got them in my book and I'm ready to try them!)

Now, for everyone that was willing to share your ideas and post a comment for the last two weeks (don't think you can post today and get a prize!), I've got another prize for EACH OF YOU! This was an "organization" project so I think an organizational prize is only fitting! I'm giving you something that will help with yesterday's post-a car litter bag! (Ok, no snickering or whining at the sound of that-I can hear my sister now, "You'r'e giving a garbage bag for a prize?!?!) These aren't JUST garbage bags. No more hanging a grocery bag over your stick shift, or using your back seat for trash. I saw these last year at a craft store and fell in love with the concept, so I made my own pattern and I've made one for each of you....Alisa....Kerry....Leigh...and yes, you mom!!

This is the top view. I've found some fun prints, and lined them with a stiff canvas for durability. Now, the inside has an inner liner out of the canvas so you can hide the garbage bag!! Love it!! And it has an adjustable strap. I've put snaps on so you can either place the strap on the side (for your stick shift), or attach the strap in the middle so you can mount to a  headrest (for your back seat).

It's small enough that it doesn't interfere with leg room for your passenger. And I've made it so the mouth of it will stay open, for easy access.

This is what you have to do to claim your prize-post a comment and tell me which fabric pattern you'd like your bag from. Give me a first choice and a second choice-I have a couple of each.

If you can't or won't use one of these, then just tell me so. Won't hurt my feelings. You'll also receive a supply of plastic bag liners so you can get starting using it as soon as it arrives. Just keep them in your console cubby or jocky box.

Ok, you're probably not as excited as I am (I'm nearing falling out of my seat over the look of them-LOVE IT!), but that's ok. Just don't try to shove your drive through garbage in these!! They are for all those receipts and other small litter.
