Most of you have heard me talk about this one before-Scrapbook Memories from my siblings. We started this one several years ago when we finally decided that the family lived in too many locations and it was getting expensive to ship things. So we decided that each family was going to design a scrapbook page that shared their family memories of the year. Then each sibling, my parents, and my grandfather would get a copy.
Some of the families make 8 pages, some make one original and then copy it for everyone. Others make a digital version and email it to the siblings. It doesn't matter the form. I've done it several different ways, depending on the year and what I was in the mood for. The first Christmas we did this, each family received an album to keep them in. I don't know about everyone else, but my album is full and I need to buy another one!
My kids LOVE to look in the album and see their cousins and themselves! I've been really bad at doing my own scrapbooks so this has been great that at least I have a "yearly" page, if nothing else. Instead of writing a Christmas letter to my friends, I copy my page and mail that with our Christmas card. I've received many cards saying how they love to get our page each year. It's so much fun to get each family's page(s).
